Toxin: Lethal Protector

It's taking FOREVER for Team Venom to finally give us Venomaniacs a peek at the all-new Broxin (that's Eddie Brock/Toxin) during the "Toxic" arc of Venom, so I took the liberty of posting my own "evolved" version. Artist Declan Shalvey explained that he is drawing a lot of inspiration from Eddie's Lethal Protector days as Venom, and is moving away from the spaghetti monster look Broxin had when he first appeared in the "Savage Six" arc. He also mentioned that when he draws the symbiotes, he takes care to include characteristics special to each one, such as the bubbly tendrils for Toxin. A cover to an upcoming Venom issue is a recreation of a classic Todd McFarlane Amazing Spider-Man cover depicting Broxin (as Venom) crouching over Agent Venom (as Spider-Man). As beautiful a design that Broxin has--mimicking the physicality of classic Venom and sporting a black spider chest emblem, many doubt that's gonna be his new look. So I wanted to give you guys an idea of what Shalvey's new Broxin may look like through a mock pose to Venom: Lethal Protector #2. The classic physicality is still there, but I wanted to keep some of the spaghetti monster feeling, especially with the head (as if it's budding from the main body).
